Importation of left-hand drive vehicles is allowed in the country.
Inspection
Used vehicles imported in the country should pass safety and emission regulations.
Documents Required:
- Bill Of Lading
- Original certificate of Title and Registration
- Original Commercial/ purchase Invoice
- Non-sale certificate
Duties and Taxes:
- Vehicles are subject to 53.5percent import taxes and duties on CIF for non-diplomats.
- For clients working for international organizations duties are 3.12percent.
- Diplomats may import a vehicle duty free.
Note: Vehicles should be sent in a separate container from the shipment
