Shipping Ports:
Being a landlocked country and the subject of a trade embargo by 2 of its 4 neighbors, the Georgian ports Poti and Batumi on the Black Sea coast provides access for the majority of shipments to Armenia.
Left-Hand Drive Vehicles:
Left Hand Drive vehicles are allowed to be import in the country.
Documents Required:
- Purchase invoice
- Original Bill of Lading
- Car title
- Certificate that auto meets technical specifications and is in good running order
- Pro-forma invoice
- Interpol document confirming that the car is not stolen
- Letter of temporary import, granting permission for 1 year
Duties and Taxes:
Vehicles are subject to customs duties of 32% of the cost, insurance and freight value.
